Chin Community of Indiana (CCI) has solicited pledge of donation to the Community Churches for the year 2017. The Churches in the community has donated in the total amount of $27000.00 for the year 2017. The list of donor Churches can be found here. http://www.indychins.org/2017-church-sponsor-list/ The community participation for the CCI works is obvious not only in the contribution amount but also in the moral supports from each Church leaders and pastors.
The community supports are like a driving force for the CCI works to fulfill its vision, missions and goals. CCI, representing over 15000 Chin population in the State of Indiana has been striving hard to provide social helps and resources for the community to navigate various resources.
Chin Center is open for the community Monday through Friday where the community members can come with appointment or walk-in to get various helps. Chin Center also has English as Second Language classes, Citizenship preparation classes and other community workshops such as Crime prevention etc.. Chin Center has been providing services to average of 200 people per week.
