CCI has concluded its Fiscal Year at the end of April, 2018. Within this twelve months period, thousands of individuals and families have approached Chin Center for various purposes. CCI has closed its annual report with recording service provision for 5202 cases from May 2017 to April 2018.
Many service provision still lacks of proper tracking and recording, yet CCI has documented services for some selected areas such as employment, citizenship and green card applications, civics and cultural education including ESL programs, translation for various purposes, and referral services to various local resources.
Referral services has been a great success category of service that helped hundreds of families get connected with the Local resources mainly for medicaid and healthcare resources. The referral program covers from helping the individual navigate the most suitable clinics, doctors and paying hip bills to reaching out mortgage companies.
Employment program is the most successful programs for this fiscal year. CCI has assisted 3615 individuals signing in for Job related assistance, and 751 successfully got employment through CCI employment programs. Employment programs basically helps families to get jobs and also provide Employment related orientation and training.
CCI has been engaged with the community in terms of Social Media and in person as well. CCI Facebook page has exceeded it goals for 2017-2017 which was to reach 5000 Facebook likes. As of April 2018 CCI Facebook page has 5980 Likes and 6394 solid followers. CCI has been reaching out the community via Facebook, Website, Yahoo Group mails, Viber apps and in person.
