CCI would like to acknowledge and thanks Freedom Homecare for donating $2000 cash for Chin Community of Indiana. Freedom Homecare business owner Ms. Thawng Hmung and Mr. Peter Thawng Hmung have made a meaningful contribution that have impact to many people in need in our community.
Our community center – Chin Center has been a focal point for the community in terms of navigating various resources. Two full-time staffs have been working from Monday to Friday. Our office has helped many employers connected to the community and also provided workforce. Many have found employment through CCI’s employment programs. As our community members are new to the country and have been learning English. ESL class in Chin Center also have been offering ESL classes for the community. Our amazing volunteers, staffs and partners have been doing great accomplishments in the past year.
The community has been calling out donation every year. The helps comes from local businesses and the businesses that connect with Chin community, and from the businesses that cares the needy.
The couple also has been running Freedom Care Sales & Repair center in Southside Indianapolis.
